Dahil wala na naman daw tayong nakuhang medalya ngayong olympics, madami ang nananawagan na mag-resign na ang head ng Philippine Olympic Committee. Narito ang kanilang statement:

"Let's not entrust our athletes to the government. Let's trust ABS-CBN and GMA instead, para next olympics ipapadala ang mga sumusunod para maghakot ng gintong medalya:

1. CAPT. BARBELL for weightlifting
2. DYESEBEL for swimming
3. LYKA (LOBO) - track and field
4. PALOS - shooting
   
5. ASERO - boxing
6. KUNG FU KIDS - taekwondo
7. LASTIKMAN - gymnastics
8. at ang pinakabago, DYOSA - swimming and equestrian

Sila ang tunay na DREAM TEAM!!!"

Speaking of medals, alam nyo bang muntikan na sana magkaroon ng bronze medal ang Philippines sa Beijing? Ang nangyari kasi, itong isang Swedish wrestler hindi natuwa sa bronze medal niya. Feeling niya dinaya siya kaya bilang protesta, nung awarding ceremonies na tinanggal nya sa pagkakasabit sa kanyang leeg ang medal na yun at iniwan sa floor at umalis na siya. Ayon sa bali-balita, muntikan na daw mapulot ng mga pinoy na nanood ang nasabing medal kaya lang naunahan sila ng isang member ng team Sweden..Sayang! Hahaha!

Nainggit lang ako kaya ginawa ko na din, hahaha! Parang hindi nga ako makapaniwala sa result eh..may mga totoo, meron din namang kaduda-duda..Syempre andami kong comment!hahaha! After nyo mabasa i'm sure mas kilala nyo na ako..enjoy...please..hehehe!

A day after the opening of the XXIX Olympiad (Beijing Olympics 2008)

• May dalawang gold medals na ang China. One from shooting and the other from weightlifting.

• May dalawang silver medals na ang Philippines..pero dati pa 'yun hindi ngayon.hehehe! nagulat ka noh!?

So far, since the Philippines' debut in the Summer Olympics in 1924, hindi pa tayo nakakakuha ng gold medal.

Although nakaka-9 medals na tayo, 5 from boxing, talagang mailap pa rin ang gold medal na yan!

Of the nine medals, 2 ang silver (tulad nung sabi ko kanina) at 7 ang bronze.

Pinakamalapit na siguro sa gold medal ang inabot ni Onyok Velasco na nakakuha ng silver medal in boxing noong 1996 Atlanta games. Pero madami ang naniniwala na nadaya siya. Kahit ako, I believe na dapat siya ang nanalo doon.. Oh well, ganun talaga..past is past!

2 Olympiads after Atlanta, Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004 - Bokya tayo..

I think this year, our best chance of winning a medal is in boxing. (lagi naman yata) Kahit hindi gold basta may medal lang ayos na yun. Kaya goodluck na lang kay Harry Tanamor dahil madami ang umaasa sa kanya. Mag-isa pa man din syang mag-cocompete in boxing.

Kelan kaya masasama ang Billiards sa olympics? Para naman lumaki ang chances natin na makakuha ng gold medal dba?..

Or kelan naman kayang gagawing 4 ang ipamimigay na medals sa olympics para tumaas din ang chances ng lahat ng kasali na makapag-uwi ng medal..Pwede silang magdagdag ng Platinum, or Palladium, or kahit Brass man lang..hahaha!

Good luck na lang sa Team Philippines..

• Go for Gold! kung mahirap, Go for Silver! kung hindi pa rin kaya, Go for Bronze!

• And if wala talaga...Go Home na lang after! at least you tried..'wag kayong mahihiya, I'm sure the Filipino people is still proud of you..
